Finally Some Shut-Eye

I caught my guinea pigs sleeping with their eyes closed for the first time recently. I don’t know if they’d done it before, but certainly not while I was around and watching. New achievement unlocked!

Their Humble Abode

This is the pigs’ C&C cage lined with pre-treated fleece over towels, hand-quilted by yours truly (was a pain, really should invest in sewing machine). Hay, food bowl, and water are all upstairs because they really need the exercise. I’m currently working on a second set of bedding for the cage.
